Laura Brown brings over 30 years of experience supporting families and business owners with trusted guidance and operational excellence in the financial services industry. A former educator with a degree in Early Childhood Education from LaGrange College, Laura began her professional career in the classroom before joining the family’s financial planning practice in 1993—where she discovered a new calling: helping clients understand and engage with their financial lives.

Today, as Co-Owner and Branch Operations Manager at Avondale Wealth Advisors, Laura oversees the firm’s internal systems and client service experience with the care, clarity, and attention to detail that define the Avondale standard. She works closely with the advisory team to translate complex planning concepts into understandable insights, making every conversation more accessible and empowering for clients.

Laura’s approach is grounded in education, empathy, and execution. With extensive experience in client service, operations, and financial planning support, she ensures that high-net-worth families and business owners receive personalized, responsive, and seamless care—whether navigating transitions, preparing for liquidity events, or stewarding multigenerational wealth.

An active member of the business community, Laura was named Small Business Leader of the Year (2017) by the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce’s West Council. She now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she continues her leadership at Avondale Wealth Advisors.

Outside of work, Laura has become an avid runner and weightlifter, prioritizing wellness and strength in her daily life. She’s also passionate about cooking and loves gathering friends and family around the table to share good food and better stories.

Laura holds FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations with LPL Financial.
